United States of Mind (USOM) is a charitable organization providing unique cultural arts and education programs to at-risk youth and families in Mapleton Fall Creek and the greater city of Indianapolis. Through the interactive exhibition of African Drumming, Break-Beats, Break-dance, African Dance, Spoken Word and Hip-Hop Poetry., USOM has distinguished itself as a specialist in solving "the urban arts disconnect" by bringing youth and adults of all cultures AND socio-economic backgrounds together with master Artists who teach relevant art mediums by real time demonstration, creating space for other artists to grow, and inspiring the community to take art and culture into their own hands.
